Powerful New Documentary Conveys How We Insure Goes "Beyond the Policy"

In times of crisis, We rise. 

Our powerful new documentary, “We Insure: Beyond the Policy,” shows exactly what that means by conveying the impacts of Hurricane Ian and how We Insure looked beyond the policies to the people behind them. 

In September of 2022, We Insure began to prepare our customers, our agencies and our employees for Hurricane Ian, days before it made landfall. Through our website, social media and targeted text messages to those most likely to be impacted, we provided storm preparedness information, details about who to contact for emergencies and relief in specific areas, how to contact We Insure agents and our corporate support departments, and how to file a claim. 

And then, we let them know where to find us. 

One day after the worst of the storm had swept through Florida, We Insure corporate leaders, team members and agents were on the scene. 

With 37 agency owners, more than 70,000 policyholders and 100 employees in possible danger, We Insure activated our Source & Solve Support Team to focus on the impacts of Ian. We’re a data-driven company so we were able to quickly map where we needed to deploy, and what we needed to deploy with. 

By reacting so quickly and as the only insurance franchise company in the Florida CAT villages, we were able to assist with resources, emergency supplies, debris cleanup, damage assistance, and expert insurance advice for our agencies, customers, employees, and community members. 

While we’re data-driven for better value, we remain people-led for better service. Our entire organization is made up of people who want to do the right thing when the time comes. And in times of crisis, when We rise? We go beyond the policy to focus on what truly matters – the people.
