We Insure and Zogo Join Forces to Educate Millennials and Gen Z’s on In’s and Out’s of Insurance

Share

JACKSONVILLE, FL, September 14, 2022We Insure, the independent insurance franchise company, and Zogo, the Gen Z-powered financial literacy company, recently introduced a new Risk and Insurance education module via the Zogo app. The new module is designed to help users better understand the in’s and out’s of insurance (including courses specific to the Florida insurance market) so they can better protect their financial well-being.

Zogo, ranked by Motley Fool as one of 2022’s top financial literacy apps, offers educational games, quizzes, and trivia. Players earn virtual Pineapples by engaging with Zogo’s modules, which they can exchange for gift cards, checking account bonuses, charity donations to organizations such as The Trevor Project and Thurgood Marshall Project, and more.

“Zogo’s innovative and engaging in-app experience has helped millions of people get a better handle on their financial lives,” said Simon Komlos, Chief Design Officer at Zogo. “But without understanding insurance and the important role it plays in protecting their assets, a single incident could make all of that education moot. That’s why we are so excited to add We Insure’s insurance expertise and content to our app, with the new Risk and Insurance module.”

We Insure worked with Zogo because a better informed customer is a happier customer, and research has shown that more informed clients have better performing loss ratios. Better informed customers also put We Insure agents in an ideal position to help them protect their most valuable assets.

“With our partnership, Zogo is now the first financial literacy app to educate younger generations about insurance and to better understand the plans and products that could meet their needs,” said Deb Franklin, co-CEO of PEAK6 InsurTech, We Insure’s parent company. “These consumers will learn about a critical financial tool, and our agents will get a more informed customer ready to work with them and make smart decisions about protecting their assets.”

This collaboration is one of many PEAK6 (the parent company of PEAK6 InsurTech) initiatives in education, technology and risk management. This follows its investment in Poker Power, an educational platform for women, where poker is used as a way to develop skills like problem solving, risk-taking, confidence, and trust in oneself when making decisions under pressure – all in a fun, supportive, and safe-to-fail environment.

Licensed in 33 states including California, Florida, Texas, New York, and Illinois, We Insure offers a variety of P&C insurance lines from top-rated carriers, including homeowners, flood, auto, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance. For its franchisees, We Insure provides carrier relationships, back-end support, and agent-friendly marketing and operation processes.

In addition to We Insure, Zogo has partnered with more than 200 financial institutions, including MassMutual, First Bank & Trust, Diamond Credit Union, and American Express.

To get started in better understanding the in’s and out’s of insurance, download the Zogo app from the App Store or Google Play Store and use code WEINSURE when setting up an account.
